Known for driving some genuinely quick cars already, football star Mario Balotelli has just purchased one of the world’s fastest four door cars in the new Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio.
The 510 PS (503 HP) Giulia was purchased from Motor Village France and will be joining Balotelli’s already impressive garage, which also houses a Ferrari F12berlinetta and the Audi RS6 the Nice player actually drove up to the dealership in.
According to Nicematin, Balotelli has a bit of a tainted history when it comes to fast saloon cars, ever since he totaled an Audi A8 he bought when he first arrived in Manchester six years ago. Hopefully, the Giulia will fare better.
In terms of performance, the top Giulia uses its previously mentioned 510 PS (503 HP) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds, maxing out at an unrestricted 305 km/h (190 mph).
In other words, it’s something to be reckoned with in its class, which is also something you could say about Balotelli and his current team this year. In fact, OGC Nice is currently first in the French Ligue 1 table, one point clear of AS Monaco and a full four points clear of Paris Saint Germain. Balotelli himself has found the net a total of six times this season in just seven games.
