Toyota’s Gazoo Racing outfit has teased two tuned concepts that will debut at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon held from January 13-15.

The first of the concepts will be based on the Toyota Aqua, aka the Prius C outside of Japan, while the other is a hotted-up version of the compact Vitz, the local designation for the Yaris supermini.

The teaser image above reveals that both feature similarly aggressive designs with enlarged air intakes, bold new front bumpers and a set of seemingly identical wheels. The Vitz also appears to have a prominent wing protruding from the end of the roof.

No specific details of the Vitz and Aqua TGR concepts have been announced just yet, but their debuts come right after reports suggested Gazoo Racing could be expanded into a comprehensive tuning arm for the Japanese company. Consequently, there’s a possibility that the concepts will find their way to the production line.
