Nissan has dropped yet another teaser of the new generation Leaf, that debuts this fall.
The latest image posted on Twitter partially reveals the electric car’s grille, with a 3D pyramid design, surrounded by a chrome strip, and the brand’s logo sitting in the middle.
Set to debut on September 6, in Tokyo, Japan, ahead of its presentation at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 2018 Nissan Leaf will feature the ProPilot semi-autonomous driving technology, which debuted on the Qashqai and X-Trail.
Visually, the new Nissan Leaf will draw some inspiration by the latest Micra and the IDS Concept, with the interior featuring a more high-tech vibe.
Challenging the likes of the Tesla Model 3 and Chevrolet Bolt, the new Nissan Leaf will be offered with at least two different battery packs, 40kWh and 60kWh. The latter choice is said to provide a total range of up to 340 miles (547km). We’ll know more about it once it debuts in full.
