Old supercars are famous for their quirks, but the menacing Lamborghini Diablo is just on another level of quirkiness.
Hardcore fans of Lamborghini would argue that the Diablo was the last true raging bull before Audi got hold of the company. Nothing could be compared with its crazy spaceship looks at the time, but that crazy design also meant that there are compromises to be made.
For example, the cabin offers almost no space for anything and it doesn’t have a glove box either. The scissor doors mean that the seat belts are mounted on the opposite side while the ergonomics are frankly a mess. A weird but frankly awesome mess.
Yes, we all know that the front headlights in the later Diablos came from the Nissan 300ZX, but there are way more quirks scattered across this beautiful supercar. Doug DeMuro takes us for a tour in the video after the jump.
