Mercedes G-Wagon Ends Up On Its Roof During Off-Roading Event

Certain hairy-chested SUVs, such as the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, have the reputation of being almost indestructible.

However, that’s not always the case, as even the potent German machine can end up in an unpleasant situation, just like this example did, during an off-roading event in Belgium, as the images posted by AutoFans reveal.

There isn’t any background on what exactly happened before the unfortunate incident that made the G-Class reveal its belly at the bottom of a steep slope, but the damages seem to be mostly cosmetic. On a positive note, nobody appears to have been injured.

While this doesn’t appear to be an ordinary Mercedes-Benz G-Class, but rather the highly desirable G500 4×4², taking a closer look suggests it could be a modified model, with custom axles and a few other tweaks. Of course, that doesn’t make it any less painful for the owner…
