Introduced earlier this at the Chicago Auto Show, Nissan’s 2017 Titan King Cab models go on sale in the States today.
Prices start from $32,550, not including a $1,195 destination and handling charge, for the 4×2 variant in S grade, while the cheapest four-wheel drive version, in the same S flavor, will set you back for at least $35,580.
Available with a 6-person seating, the new Nissan Titan King Cab features wide-opening rear doors, and what the brand calls a ‘first-in-segment rear seat delete option’, making the vehicle even more ideal for commercial use, with its flat floor and secure in-cab storage space.
All versions of the 2017 Nissan Titan King Cab are powered by a standard 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine, which makes 390 horses and is married to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 9,420lbs (4,273kg) and maximum payload capacity, when properly equipped, sits at 1,640lbs (744kg).
Along with the launch of the Titan King Cab, Nissan has also introduced the 2017 Titan XD King Cab. It’s also available in three grades – S, SV, and Pro-4X, and offered with both two- and four-wheel drive. Powering it is the same aforementioned lump, but also a 5.0-liter V8 turbodiesel, with 310hp and 555lb-ft (752Nm) of torque, matched with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Prices for the XD start from $33,560 and go all the way up to more than $50,490, again, not including a $1,195 destination and handling fee.
