VW has announced the US pricing of the 2018 Tiguan, which is expected to be launched nationwide this summer.
Pricing of the all-new 2018 VW Tiguan will kick off at $25,345 for the front-drive 2.0L TSI S model, and $26,645 for the 4Motion all-wheel drive S model.
Entry-level S models will come with standard features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, a 6.5-inch infotainment system with a rearview camera and Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink, heated side mirrors, black roof rails, and trailer hitch preparation for hauling needs.
The Tiguan SE, priced from $29,080, gets an 8-inch infotainment system with SiriusXM Satellite Radio with a three-month trial subscription, Voice Control,keyless access with push-button start, automatic dual-zone climate control, leatherette seats, Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring (Front Assist) and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert.
Moving up the range, the Tiguan SEL (starting at $32,550) adds 18-inch alloys, a power liftgate, remote start, silver roof rails, a panoramic sunroof with ambient lighting and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The range-topping SEL Premium starts at $36,250 and offers 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, hands-free Easy Open and Easy Close power liftgate, ambient lighting, leather seats, Lane Assist, automatic High Beam Control, front and rear Park Distance Control, Overhead View Camera and a 12.3-inch digital cockpit display among others.
Those looking to add a third row of seats will have to pay an extra $500, with other options to include a panoramic sunroof ($1,200), the Driver Assistance pack ($850) and the R-Line pack ($1,795).
