Not satisfied with both the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato and Zagato Volante leading its range of exclusive models, the carmaker is preparing yet another Vanquish Zagato, this time taking the shape of a Speedster.
Recently spied undergoing tests at the Nurburgring, the Zagato Speedster will be even more limited than its siblings, restricted to just 28 units worldwide. As the name would have you believe, it stands out thanks to the new roof design and the two prominent humps on the rear decklid.
In Coupe and Volante guises, the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato is potentially the most beautiful car on the market. However, after seeing the images in the video below, we can’t say the same with the Speedster.
Traditionally, Speedsters are absolutely stunning but the front-engine layout of the Vanquish means the car’s rear decklid doesn’t appear long enough to support the driver and passenger side humps. Dare we say it, it actually looks a little bit strange.
As the Speedster will be the most limited of the trio, it will be the most expensive, fetching about $1.6 million, about three times more than the Coupe and Volante.
