Aston Martin was spotted testing a production example of the limited Vanquish Zagato Volante at the Nurburgring and my God does it look jaw-dropping.
Someone would say it looks like a million bucks and that someone wouldn’t be far from the truth; Aston Martin charges $850k for each of the 99 examples planned for production after all.
The unique and simply gorgeous Zagato bodywork is the same with its coupe sibling and the only difference is the new fabric retractable top. Other than the roofline shape, the design of the Vanquish Zagato Volante remains as attractive as it can get.
And all this sexiness is combined with the last appearance of Aston Martin’s naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12. In this case it makes a rather healthy 592hp which is enough to send it from zero to 62mph (100km/h) in 3.7 seconds.
We’re not so sure about the spec of this particular example though; we would avoid a matte paint in the scenario of having to spec one and choose instead a proper shiny color to highlight that curvy design.
Can you imagine how will that V12 rumble sound like with the roof tucked away? Like a million bucks you say? You’re absolutely right.
