The official unveiling of the 2018 Audi A8 is about a week away and the company has released two new teaser videos of the upcoming model.
The first clip is Spiderman themed as it features a father tied up in the back seat of the luxury sedan while his kid plays outside. Instead of just sitting there, the father hits a button on the digital display of the rear center console to activate the “relaxation seat with foot massage.” When this occurs, a panel in the rear of the front passenger seat lowers to reveal a black surface which acts as a foot massager.
The second clip is a little more straight forward as it shows a camouflaged prototype being tested in Las Vegas as well as Sweden. The clip then shows the model at the Spiderman: Homecoming premiere as the car will make a cameo appearance in the film ahead of its debut on July 11th.
Audi has been tight-lipped about technical specifications but the automaker has already revealed the car will come standard with a 48-volt mild hybrid system which will reduce fuel consumption by up to 0.7 L/100km (0.2 mpg US). The model will also offer with a traffic jam pilot system and an all-new infotainment system with a sharper display.
