McLaren invited journalists to Spain to test the new 570S Spider, so this means that numerous reviews are coming our way.
However, until they do, the automaker has released a very generous image gallery with their latest product, which shows it in its three launch colors called Curacao Blue, Sicilian Yellow and Vega Blue.
This coincides with its launch in certain markets around the world, including the UK, where McLaren is asking at least £164,750 (equal to $214,538) for the most basic version of the 570S Spider.
Presented during the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed at the end of June and hand-assembled at the brand’s Production Center in Woking, England, the 570S Spider is the open top version of the 570S Coupe and the third addition to the Sports Series, after the 570S and the 570GT.
It uses the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that makes 570PS (562hp) and 600Nm (444lb-ft) of torque, sent to the rear axle through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Going from rest to 100km/h (62mph) takes just 3.2 seconds, and its top speed, with the roof up, is 328km/h (204mph), which makes it identical to the Coupe.
