To give the Honda HR-V a little added aggression and street presence, Honda’s UK division has just revealed the new HR-V Black Edition.
The Japanese marque first introduced the Black Edition treatment on the CR-V, though now, these custom touches have extended to the HR-V. Key changes include a black paint scheme, black running boards, skid plates, front grille, 18-inch alloy wheels and black mirror caps.
Honda has priced the entry-level 1.5-liter i-VTEC manual Black Edition from 25,000 pounds ($32,425) on the road, while the CVT jumps to 26,210 pounds ($33,994) and the manual diesel tops out the range at 26,820 pounds ($34,785).
Speaking about the vehicle, managing director of Honda UK Dave Hodgetts said “Both the HR-V and CR-V are much loved by customers, and the CR-V Black Edition has gone down extremely well with those looking for something a little more distinctive and individual along with some nice premium touches. We look forward to the new HR-V version hitting forecourts over the next few weeks, and to extending the run of CR-V Black Edition to meet demand.”
