Two months after the 2018 BMW 1-Series debuted, the company has released a comprehensive gallery showing the new vehicle in all of its updated glory.

Now, when we say ‘updated’, we’re using the word very loosely, as the 2018 1-Series looks barely any different than the vehicle it replaces. In fact, all that distinguishes the 2018 model are the availability of newly-designed wheels and two new colors dubbed Seaside Blue and Sunset Orange.

In the cabin, there are a selection of slightly more apparent upgrades, including a revised center console with a cover for the cup holders, a new instrument cluster, revised center stack, different air vents and some chrome trimmings. BMW’s iDrive system has also been updated for use in the 2018 1-Series and a WiFi hotspot with support for up to ten devices is available.

The range of petrol engines consist of a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder with outputs varying between 107 hp and 134 hp. For those that want more grunt, a turbo 2.0-liter four can be ordered with either 181 hp or 221 hp while the M140i tops out the petrol range with its turbo’d six and 335 hp. Diesels include a single three-cylinder with 114 hp and three 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines delivering either 148 hp, 187 hp or 221 hp.
