It was just a matter of time until Jaguar’s latest product, the E-Pace, fell in the hands of rendering artists.

By receiving a new front bumper, side skirts, some carbon fiber trim, black accents, sports suspension and larger rims, this version of the SUV, designed by XTomi, is supposed to show how a high performance R-S variant might look like.

In its new form, it would gladly take on the range-topping versions of the BMW X1 and Mercedes GLA, helped by a potent powertrain. If it could fit in the engine bay, the brand’s 5.0-liter V8 would endow the E-Pace with extraordinary performance.

However, even if Jaguar is planning a performance variant of their new SUV, it’s highly unlikely it will receive such a massive unit, but we guess a supercharged V6 with around 400 HP like the one powering the F-Type, which seems a much more logical choice, would do the job quite nicely.

The most powerful 2018 Jaguar E-Pace that money can buy right now uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 300PS (296hp) and 400Nm (295lb-ft), while the range-topping diesel is rated at 240PS (237hp) and 500Nm (368lb-ft) of torque.
