Dacia’s parent company, Renault, has a special version of the Duster that they sell in South America – the Oroch pickup truck.
It debuted two years ago, at the Buenos Aires International Motor Show, as the brand’s first pickup truck, and it uses the Duster SUV as a starting point.
In theory, it sounds good, as it comes with all the features found on the budget sports utility vehicle, to which it adds a rear bed that can haul reasonably sized goods.
In these commercials released by Renault’s Argentinean arm, the Duster Oroch is shown taking a beating in various environments, while at the same time, highlighting its versatility.
You can only buy the Renault Duster Oroch in South America, as the automaker isn’t offering it anywhere else.
In the meantime, the original Dacia Duster is getting ready to enter its second generation. It will debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
