Jay Leno Paid More Than Half A Million Bucks For His 2017 Ford GT

Jay Leno was one of the first people to get the 2017 Ford GT, the now famous black with orange stripes example that was detailed last month.

While we already have an idea of how expensive the new Ford GT is, someone over at Reddit managed to find out that Leno’s actual car came with an MSRP of $505,750.

Reddit user B-rad747 managed to find the window sticker of this particular GT after watching the Jay Leno’s Garage episode with the car, in which Leno holds up a paper with the VIN number.

According to the sticker, Jay has ticked quite a few options, including the titanium lug nuts for $1,000, the orange stripes for $10k, the orange brake calipers for $1,000, the exposed carbon wheels for $15k and the 400A pack for $25k. All this has added $55k to the base $447,000 price of the 2017 Ford GT.

We all know that supercars and their options list can get quite crazy but damn, $10,000 for stripes isn’t easy to swallow.
