Land Rover is launching two adventure travel experiences in Namibia and Utah, with the new Discovery starring in both cases.
The Namibia Adventure is an eight-day trip to some of Africa’s finest scenery and wildlife, while the Utah Adventure lasts five days and offers even more challenging driving in some of North America’s most beautiful scenery.
Land Rover’s new adventures combine the epic travel experience with a self-drive in the new Discovery: guests can go photograph sand dunes, spot Africa’s great beats in Etosha National Park and go where the Namib Desert meets the South Atlantic Ocean.
The Namibia Adventure departs on May 1, 2018 and is priced at 5,945 euros ($6,943) per person, which includes all Land Rover driving activities, accommodation, meals and airport transfers.
Those looking for a more hardcore off-road challenge, can find what they are looking for at the Utah adventure. This trip offers exhilarating drives in the spectacular scenery around Moab, with red rock landscapes, the beautiful Arches National Park and the Canyonlands.
Guests will have the chance to tackle the Seven Mile Rim, Poison Spider Mesa and the Hells Revenge Trails with a Land Rover Discovery. The five-day adventure starts on October 21, 2017 and costs $5,250 per person, including all driving activities, accommodation, meals and airport transfers.
“Adventure plays a key part in what makes for an exhilarating drive – whether it be an iconic road trip or on the road-less-travelled,” said Mark Cameron, Global Experiential Marketing Director at Jaguar Land Rover. “To do this from behind the wheel of the new Discovery makes it unique. These driving adventures will offer an exceptional driving experience where our customers will get the chance to push the vehicle to its limits and enjoy unforgettable surroundings.”
