Mighty Car Mods went all the way to Germany and visited Ford’s factory to get a look at the Focus RS production line and help in building one.
The popular duo had a hand in building a black example that’s going to be shipped in Australia and directly to the MCM headquarters.
The tour inside the production line involves showing how the driveline is fitted to the bodyshell and all the parts that make a Focus RS different from the standard model.
After the driveline has been bolted to the car with the help of robots, the Focus RS goes to a separate facility where all the rest of the RS-specific parts are installed to the car. Even the front bumper is being fitted there as it’s apparently too wide for the car to go through the regular production line wearing it.
Moog and Marty also got the opportunity to sample the now-famous drift mode of the Focus RS, plus many more in the video linked below.
