No, the new Mercedes-Benz X-Class hasn’t fallen into the hands of tuners (yet), but in those of rendering artists.
One of them, named WinningDesigns, thought that the stock pickup truck could do with a makeover, so he decided to do something about it.
And he did, by fitting a new bumper, grille, and side skirts, making the wheel arches wider to fit those large multi-spoke rims, tweaking the headlights and side mirror casings, and removing the roof bars.
Nothing weird so far, but then he slammed it to the ground and made it a low-rider, which, frankly, doesn’t look that good on Merc’s pickup truck.
Weird renderings aside, Mercedes-Benz has no plans of offering more versions of the X-Class, as their current focus is on launching it in Europe, South America, South Africa, and Australia. Prices for the most basic version start at €37,294 (equal to $43,890) in Germany, where it goes on sale in November.
