More photos that is, as the Japanese company is inviting potential customers from the Japanese market to express their interest ahead of the official debut of the all-new Suzuki Swift Sport at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new photos are giving us a better look at the new Japanese hot hatch, revealing details like the twin exhaust pipes that are incorporated with what looks like a rear diffuser and lots of interior features.
These include a set of sports seats along with the confirmation of a six-speed manual gearbox and a spiced-up dashboard that features red detailing and a flat-bottom sports steering wheel.
The instrument cluster also hosts a red rev-counter while the color display in there comes with a boost gauge. In case you don’t remember, the new Swift Sport has ditched the naturally aspirated 1.6-liter unit for Suzuki’s latest turbocharged 1.4-liter Boosterjet unit which makes 138hp and 220Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque under the bonnet of the Suzuki Vitara.
Reports suggest that the boosted pocket rocket will tip the scales at an exceptionally low 870kg (1,918lbs), which -if true- will give it a very impressive power-to-weight ratio of 159hp per ton.
Suzuki plans to lift the wraps off the new Swift Sport at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 12.
