Fiat has introduced the new 500X Urbana Edition in the United States.
Set to go on sale this fall, the model is based on the 500X Trekking and features Miron black accents on the mirrors, door handles, and taillight surrounds. The model also has black roof rails, copper accents, and 18-inch matte black alloy wheels.
Fiat didn’t release interior pictures but says the cabin comes equipped with unique seats that have “black Castiglio chevron-patterned fabric” and copper-colored embroidered 500 logos. Drivers will also find a black-painted center console, Miron-painted accents, and a black dashboard with a copper 500 logo.
The Urbana Edition package costs $845 and it will be available exclusively on 500X Trekking models which start at $23,350. A variety of different options will be available including all-wheel drive, a panoramic glass sunroof, and a 6.5-inch Uconnect infotainment system with GPS navigation.
It remains to be seen if the Urbana Edition can help to drive sales as the 500X has been trickling off dealership lots with monthly sales averaging around 650 units. For comparison, the Jeep Renegade is selling like hot cakes as Carsalesbase reports the company sold 8,974 models last month alone.
