Nissan has announced the 2018 Pathfinder will be priced from $30,790 when it goes on sale in the United States later this week.
Since the model has recently received a facelift, this year’s changes are relatively minor and include a newly standard automatic emergency braking system as well as a rear door alert system, which reminds parents not to forget their children in the rear seats.
The crossover also gains four new USB ports and an updated color palette (Scarlet Ember and Midnight Pine). The $37,500 Pathfinder SL goes even further as it gains a standard Intelligent Cruise Control system and a Nissan Connect infotainment system with GPS navigation.
The model can also be equipped with a Midnight Edition package that includes a black grille surround, black mirror caps, and 20-inch aluminum wheels with a black finish. The package also adds black badging, a black rear spoiler, and illuminated sill plates.
Under the hood, there’s a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 284 hp (211 kW) and 259 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an Xtronic continuously variable transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
