The next-generation Aston Martin Vantage has been snapped by our spies undergoing track testing at the Nurburgring.
We had our first glimpse at the design of the new Vantage in June when a number of patent sketches surfaced online. These spy shots confirm that those patents were the real deal and that the 2019 Vantage will indeed closely resemble James Bond’s Aston Martin DB10.
Consequently, the front-end will be dominated by a narrow snout and slim LED headlights that immediately give the new Vantage a sportier feel than ever before. At the rear, there will be slim taillights like the DB10 as well as a large lip spoiler.
When the Vantage arrives, it will initially be sold with the same twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 as the DB11, potentially producing the same 503 hp and 513 lb-ft of torque. Down the line, the twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 found in the range-topping DB11 could make its way into a new-age V12 Vantage.
A global premiere in early 2018 is widely anticipated.
