Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know by now, that the Bugatti Chiron managed to set a new world record for production cars, after going from 0 to 400m/h (249mph) and then back to 0 in just 41.96 seconds.
The impressive performance was achieved last month, in the hands of Juan Pablo Montoya, who not only had its name written in the automotive history book once more, but also managed to erase his previous speed record of 407km/h (253mph), as he reached 420km/h (261mph) in Molsheim’s megacar.
Bugatti did promise that they will talk about the new world record at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, and they have kept their word, so if you want to see what they had to say about it, you should simply scroll down to the video of the live press conference.
Enthusiasts can also check out the actual Chiron responsible for the impressive performance at the automotive event, where it’s displayed from September 12 to 24, powered by the 8.0-liter W16 engine, with four turbochargers, which makes 1,500PS (1,479hp) and 1,600Nm (1,180lb-ft) of torque.
