The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and Huracan Spyder are two of the fastest exotics in the world, with very little between them on paper over short distances.
Then again, racing on a 1/2 mile course should always favor whichever car has the most power, as long as extra weight isn’t too big of an issue. In terms of the Huracan Spyder, it has 610 PS and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque.
In comparison, the Aventador Roadster boasts 700 PS and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft), which allow it to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3 seconds flat and max out at a whooping 350 km/h (217 mph).
The Huracan Spyder’s top speed is 324 km/h (201 mph), as for how quickly it can hit 100 km/h, let’s just say it needs almost half a second more than the Aventador LP700-4.
Still, as luck would have it, this race is pretty close. In fact, since the cars were timed over 60 feet, 330 feet, 1/4 mile and a 1/2 mile, it was interesting to see that in the end, both models managed to win something.
