Mercedes-AMG has announced plans to show the G63 and G65 Exclusive Editions at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Likely a last hurrah for the outgoing model, the high-performance SUVs have a unique exterior which can be equipped with an exclusive AMG Monza grey magno paint finish.
Buyers will also find stainless steel skid plates, AMG racing stripes, and plastic rub strips with dark aluminum inserts. Rounding out the changes are a painted tire carrier and 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels with either a matte black (G63) or ceramic polished (G65) finish.
The unique styling continues in the cabin as the models have been equipped with the designo Exclusive package which includes two-tone leather AMG sport seats and a matching two-tone leather dashboard. A variety of color combinations will be available but all will feature diamond-quilted accents on the seats and door panels. Other highlights include heated / ventilated multicontour front seats and carbon fiber or piano black lacquer trim.
Like the standard model, the G63 has a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that develops 571 PS (420 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque. The G65 is more insane as it boasts a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 developing 630 PS (463 kW) and 1000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque.
German pricing starts at €163,125 ($193,458) for the G63 Exclusive Edition and €287,658 ($341,150) for the G65 Exclusive Edition.
