Pagani stunned the world at Pebble Beach following the debut of the limited-run Zonda HP Barchetta. Now, we’ve learnt some additional things about the supercar.

Top Gear claims to have received confirmation that the Barchetta delivers a fruitful 789 hp, a figure identical to the Huayra BC and 30 hp more than the Zonda 760-series.

Additionally, the publication claims that the Zonda HP Barchetta probably uses the same twin-turbo 6.0-liter AMG V12 as the BC. However, we’re inclined to disagree. A quick look at any of the videos of the one-of-three Zonda from Pebble Beach will tell you that it has the familiar naturally-aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine and thanks to a tweaked exhaust system, is louder than ever before.

Elsewhere, it’s been discovered that the Barchetta has a good ‘ole six-speed manual transmission, a self-locking mechanical differential and rear-wheel drive. Its adjustable Ohlins shocks, springs and four-wheel independent double wishbones are all similar to the Huayra BC.

Owing to the new windscreen design, the latest ‘final’ Zonda doesn’t have a roof, not even a cloth top. In that case, the fortunate three owners better ensure the car is never left outside in the rain.
