Since launching their PD800WB aerodynamics package for the Audi R8 V10 plus back in June, Prior-Design haven’t exactly bombarded us with images and videos of the car.
Thankfully, one such example popped up a while back on public roads in Velden am Wörthersee, and the Supercars of Austria YouTube channel was kind enough to follow it around with a camera for a bit.
The best part is the fact that this video has all the noises we wanted to hear, from idling to low revs, high revs, quick acceleration bursts, the works. It’s safe to say that Prior-Design also fitted this R8 with a new exhaust system.
As far as we can tell, the noises it makes are sort of low-pitched, throaty and with plenty of bangs at the end of each sentence. Not a bad way to improve on an already great-sounding 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine.
Aside from being able to get an upgraded exhaust, suspension kits and interior mods, Prior-Design customers going for the PD800WB kit will get large fenders, custom side skirts, tweaked bumpers, all sorts of vents and scoops, a new bonnet and rear diffuser.
