Project Cars 2 has already started trickling out around the world and now we have a chance to check out another cool feature of the long-awaited gaming title.

For the first time in a video game, players can experience Mercedes-Benz Driving Events at the German marque’s winter training course in Sorsele in northern Sweden. In order to preview the special driving experience, Mercedes teamed up with Nic Hamilton, the half-brother of Lewis Hamilton.

Although driving experts like Hamilton make ice driving seem simple, it isn’t. In fact, Hamilton mentions that driving on ice is very counter-intuitive as you need to radically alter your driving style compared to tarmac. With a powerful vehicle like the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe, it is possible to string drifts together between multiple corners. In the game, the same thing is possible.

Based on early reviews, Project Cars 2 appears to be a huge improvement over the first installment. The game is available on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
