BMW is celebrating the arrival of the new 6-Series GT by launching a limited edition in Japan.

It’s called 6-Series GT M Sport Debut Edition, and it will only be made in just 40 units, all of them priced from 12,890,000 Yen, which equals to $113,341 at today’s exchange rates.

Based on the 640i GT, the car features some exterior upgrades from BMW Individual, such as the Sophisto Gray exclusive paint, chrome accents, 20-inch M alloy wheels, and blue-finished calipers.

Open the door and you will see the cognac-colored Dakota leather seats, piano black trim, Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system, 9.2-inch infotainment system, rear-seat entertainment system with color screen and DVD drive, 4-zone climate control, gesture control, and others.

Building upon the BMW 640i GT means that the M Sport Debut Edition uses a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that feeds 340PS (335hp) and 450Nm (332lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. The US model needs just 5.3 seconds to sprint from naught to 100km/h (62mph), with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and xDrive all-wheel drive, and it taps out at 250km/h (155mph).
