Porsche enthusiasts descending on the Silverstone Circuit this Saturday can bid on 59 of the finest German sports cars in the UK at the third annual Porsche sale.

The event is organized by Silverstone Auctions, in collaboration with the world’s biggest car club, Porsche Club GB, and features a wide range of models from an entry-level 2003 Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 2 Tiptronic, estimated at £18,000-22,000, up to a 1998 911 Turbo S that could fetch as much as £285,000. Safe to say, if money isn’t an issue, there are plenty of spectacular classics to choose from, both modern as well as actual iconic cars such as the 914-6 or the 356B Cabriolet.

“I’m very impressed with the range and depth of cars on offer for the Porsche Sale. Our consignors have put together a fantastic catalogue,” said Nick Whale, managing director of Silverstone Auctions. “Now in our third year with this sale, we are proud to be associated with Porsche Club GB and in addition to the auction, the club is putting on a fantastic series of events, including a Porsche Experience Center track day for members.”

Speaking of racing, you’ll also find a 1971 Porsche 911 2.8 RSR FIA Historic GT race car crafted from an original 1973 911T, a 265 HP machine estimated to fetch between £80,000 and £100,000.

However, if it’s exclusivity you’re after, one of the rarest cars on offer is a 1992 Porsche 911 (964) RS Touring, one of only six UK-supplied RHD models, featuring a black on black theme. Its estimated price should be between £185,000 and £210,000.
