“We all want to be Iron Man,” says British designer Afzal Kahn, the man behind this coachbuilt Aston Martin DB9.

He sees the car as more of a luxurious iron suit you step into, a more “animalistic” version of what Aston Martin will come up with once you place your order.

Safe to say, it took a lot of years and a lot of saving up before Kahn could build his ultimate car, a DB9-based beast which he unveiled last year at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

Boasting a redesigned front bumper with a wide spaced grille, the Vengeance is truly imposing to look at. It’s also got flared fenders that merge seamlessly into the doors, massive rear wings and a hard-to-miss bonnet bulge.

Compared to the standard DB9, the Vengeance is wider, yet shares the stock model’s 5.9-liter V12 unit, putting down a nifty 517 PS through the rear wheels.

As for what it’s like once you step inside, a quick answer would be modern and comfortable. It comes with Bluetooth, heated and electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats, a garage door opener, sat-nav, climate control, parking aid, cruise control and others.
