Having a suspect speed towards your car while chased by multiple interceptors definitely sounds unnerving. Thankfully the cops put an end to this pursuit before anything bad happened.
The action takes place in the state of Georgia and occurred last weekend. It starts off with the perpetrators driving past multiple cars, with at least one driver pulling out his phone and capturing the footage.
Here’s what he had to say: “My two kids and I were sitting in traffic on our way to lunch. That’s when I saw five police cars with flashing lights start heading our way so I started video recording. I didn’t notice that the police were chasing anyone until after I started videoing.”
This witness also states that the suspects had only minor injuries following the officers’ successful pit maneuver, which not only turned the black Mustang around, but immobilized it by flipping it onto its roof.
The driver of the Mustang, one Joshua Bush, has been charged with multiple felonies, including reckless driving and attempting to escape police. His passenger, Michael McElroy was charged with violating his probation – apparently the passenger was previously involved in a police shooting, as reported by the Dawson County News.
