A new clip going behind the scenes of Ken Block’s wild Climbkhana video has just been published by Ford Performance.
To put the video together, the Hoonigan team actually had to make three visits to the mountain and like other videos in the Gymkhana series, filmed the clip in sections, rather than capturing the entire hillclimb in a single run. In fact, most of the corners and stunts were filmed separately and the footage was then stitched together to make it appear like a single shot.
Beyond having to deal with ever-changing weather conditions, the 1,400 hp Hoonicorn encountered issues of its own and at one stage, the crankcase was building too much pressure and firing oil out of the engine.
