Honda has updated the Step WGN MPV for the 2018 model year with a number of new styling cues and options.
The tweaked Step WGN range starts with the entry-level ‘Spada’ model. It is powered by a 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine aided by a small turbocharger and equipped exclusively with a CVT. Customers can opt for front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and a selection of trim options are also offered.
For those looking for a more advanced alternative, Honda offers the Step WGN Spada Hybrid. This variant features a 2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack under the first row of seats. All up, it delivers 215 PS.
Visually, the Spada Hybrid can be distinguished from the regular Spada thanks to its 16-inch aluminum wheels with 205/60 R16 tires, chrome door handles and cleared taillights. For 2018, Honda has also introduced ‘Premium Spice Purple Pearl’ paint for all petrol-powered variants and ‘Forest Green Pearl’ for the Spada Hybrid.
Elsewhere, there is a range of different interior finishes on offer with varying shades of leather and a range of contrast stitching. Common among all the interior configurations is a digital instrument cluster.
