As you well know, the McLaren 720S is the so-called King Slayer, if we were to use some GoT terminology, able to keep up with most hypercars, while destroying any and all supercar rivals.
So far, we’ve seen it knock the Tesla Model S P100D off its throne, out-run a Porsche 918 Spyder, and absolutely demolish a stock Lamborghini Huracan.
Yet, Lamborghini have an ace up their sleeve as well, with the Performante version of the Huracan putting down 640 PS and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, with AWD.
This is also a car that went around the Nurburgring in just 6 minutes and 52 seconds, which made it 7 seconds faster than the Aventador SV, a truly tremendous achievement.
Now, thanks to Brooks from DragTimes, we have a pretty good idea of what a direct straight-line race would look like between the 720S and the Performante. Know that the former just ran a 1/4 mile in 9.98 seconds, so the Lambo definitely had its work cut out.
