While some lux automakers charge more for giving you a RWD version of an all-wheel drive car, Lamborghini will actually sell you a tail-happy Huracan Spyder for $43,000 less than the AWD model.

Sure, buying a Lamborghini, or any other supercar for that matter, isn’t the most practical thing in the world. Yet if you like what the rear-wheel drive open top Huracan brings to the table, it might just offer you better value than any of the other versions.

At least, that’s how Kelley Blue Book’s Micah Muzio sees it. After driving multiple versions of the Lamborghini Huracan, he says that the 2017 RWD Spyder model is the one he would buy with his own money.

So what’s so special about this version of the Huracan? For starters, its 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 unit sends 580 PS (572 HP) to the rear wheels. While that might not be as much as you get in the standard Huracan (610 PS / 602 HP), you will still hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and max out at 319 km/h (198 mph).

There are also a few aesthetic modifications to consider, such as the new bumper and updated grille at the rear, while the front bumper is identical to that of the RWD Huracan Coupe.
