While you won’t be doing any heavy offroading in your Land Rover Discovery Sport, know that this SUV can potentially handle just about anything you throw at it, while still ticking all the boxes for everyday use.
Or so says Carbuyer’s Ginny Buckley, who can’t seem to find a fault with the Discovery Sport, calling it a “great all-rounder” and a “fantastic motorway cruiser.”
In fact, this might be the most positive review we’ve ever seen on Land Rover’s newest best-selling model. However, there have been plenty of other voices stating that it doesn’t quite match its rivals in terms of quality.
Otherwise, the Discovery Sport is extremely capable, comfortable and practical too, despite only being about as long as a VW Golf Variant, as Buckley points out while discussing the SUV’s cabin space.
In the end, we’re dealing with an extremely competitive segment here, where buyers often choose cars based on personal preferences, not maximum luggage capacity or offroad prowess. In other words, the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60 and all the others, are truly formidable foes.
