The Roewe Marvel X is celebrating its premiere online, prior to its public debut set for the 2018 Beijing Auto Show, next April.
Previewed by the Roewe Vision-E Concept that was shown in Shanghai this year, this is the zero-emission version of the upcoming Roewe RX7, reports CarNewsChina.
Tipping the scale at 1,759kg (3,878lbs), the electric SUV is 4,678mm (184.17in) long, 1,919mm (75.55in) wide, and 1,161mm (45.71in) tall, and has a 2,800mm (110.24in) long wheelbase. Its dimensions are very similar to those of a Porsche Macan, and make it smaller and lighter than a Tesla Model X.
Powering it are two electric motors, one at the front, with 116 horsepower, and the other at the rear, churning out 71hp. It’s 0-100km/h (62mph) acceleration time is unknown, but it’s apparently capable of reaching a top speed of 180km/h (112mph).
Roewe haven’t announced any details surrounding its range, charging time, or battery options either, but don’t expect to see it outside China, as the Marvel X is strictly aimed at the People’s Republic.
