Rolls-Royce is assuredly hard at work getting its new Phantom out to its eagerly awaiting customers around the world. And you can bet that a fair few of them will be going to the oil-rich countries lining the southern and western shores of Persian Gulf. Like this one here.

On display at Abu Dhabi Motors is a brand-new example of the Phantom VIII. And it looks particularly suited to its new desert environment, all decked out in Cornish White and Tuscan Sun – with coachline and interior to match, and more chrome than a biker rally.

For our part, we’re not sure we’d have picked a shade of wood for the interior trim quite so close to the color of the leather. But that’s a matter of personal taste, of course, and we’re certain the dealer will find a customer for it all the same.

Color combinations aside, it’s the first available example of the new Phantom we’ve seen at the automaker’s flagship showroom in the United Arab Emirates. The location is not only the automaker’s top dealer in the Middle East, but one of its most prolific sellers worldwide. The franchise was named the company’s Global Dealer of the Year three years running, and continues to sell more Bespoke commissions than any other in the world.

Rolls-Royce showcased the new Phantom for the first time in the region just two months ago at the Dubai Motor Show in the neighboring emirate. Though local market conditions have taken a hit lately, the Middle East remains one of the top regions for Rolls-Royce globally. And the new Phantom is sure to find some eager buyers in the UAE especially.
