Rimac Automobili has released a video teasing the Concept One’s successor, which will debut at the upcoming 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
Codenamed “Concept Two”, the new electric hypercar is expected to offer more power -and therefore speed- than the original $1 million Concept One which offered a combined 1224hp from its four electric motors.
Rimac is planning to build more examples of its new model, targeting a total production run of 100 cars. The original Concept One was produced in just eight examples, plus two track-only Concept S versions.
Judging from the released teasers so far, the next-generation Rimac is expected to look more aggressive than is predecessor, with a prominent aero agenda that includes a deep front splitter, a flat underbody, an active rear spoiler and a big rear diffuser.
It will also offer more range that the 210 miles the Concept One offered, as well as a bit more space inside the cabin. Rimac has said in the past that the new hypercar will cost more than the Concept One.
The Croatian manufacturer will reveal the next-generation electric hypercar on March 6 at the Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned.
