We’ve seen countless spy photos of the 2019 Toyota Supra over the past few months and now we’re getting a better glimpse of the car thanks to a member of the SupraMKV forums.

Spotted on the back of a car hauler, this particular prototype is wearing less camouflage than usual and this reveals several new details. Starting up front, we can see final shape of the air intakes as well as a new vent which is located beneath the headlight. The side skirts also appear sportier than on previous prototypes and we can see another vent in front of the rear wheels.

Toyota will preview the model next month with a “modern racing concept” that signals the company’s intention to “bring back to the market its most iconic sports car.” The company hasn’t said much about the car but a purported picture of the Toyota Supra GRNM Racing concept surfaced a few days later. It showed an aggressive looking coupe with a front splitter, canards and center-locking wheels sporting Bridgestone tires.

While the concept will be decidedly different than the production model, rumors have suggested the road-going Supra will be shorter and lighter than its predecessor. If the claims pan out, the car will measure 4,380 mm (172.4 inches) long, 1,855 mm (73 inches) wide and 1,290 mm (50.7 inches) tall with a wheelbase that spans 2,470 mm (97.2 inches).

The Supra is also rumored to weigh 1,496 kg (3,284 lbs) and have a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that develops 335 hp (249 kW) and up to 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque when overboost is factored in.
