Fancy a new BMW M4 convertible painted in eye-catching yellow but can’t get your hands on the new 30-Jahre Edition? Don’t worry, because you can still get one as yellow as you like – Just check out this one on display in Abu Dhabi.
Showcased at the world’s largest BMW dealership is just such an M4 cabrio in Speed Yellow, with a host of modifications from the Bimmer specialists at AC Schnitzer that are painted to match.
This M4 is wearing the German tuner’s full body kit, including a rear wing. It also packs AC Schnitzer’s custom exhaust, as well as the hood from the M4 GTS and side skirts from the M Performance parts catalog. Even the spoke inserts on the wheels are painted yellow to match the bodywork, while the interior completes the Bumblebee look in black with yellow accents.
Like any other M4, this highly customized drop-top is powered by BMW’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight six kicking out 425 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. With the manual transmission, a standard M4 convertible will hustle to 62 in 4.6 seconds, or 4.3 with the dual-clutch option. Plus it has room for you and a few of your best friends to enjoy one of the finest open-air driving experiences this side of a Ferrari Portofino.
Its output is less than the 450 metric horses boasted by the aforementioned 30 Jahre anniversary edition. But the difference is not that big, plus you won’t have to wait for a speculator to list for sale one of those 300 special editions for a hefty premium.
