Lotus has been on a hot streak recently, launching one fast sports car after another. The Evora Sport 410 may not be the automaker’s most hardcore model, but as TheSmokingTire found out, it’s one heck of a ride.
Based on the Evora 400, the Sport 410 is lighter, more powerful and quicker. That’s a winning recipe for any automaker, but Lotus has managed to take the well-known blueprint and put it to good use. The regular Evora 400 competes against the likes of the Porsche Cayman, so does the Evora Sport 410 have what it takes to take on the Cayman GT4?
Matt Farah found that it does. Not only that, but he even states that the Evora Sport 410 is the car for enthusiasts that loved the original Acura NSX. The new NSX is a supercar that packs the same tech as million-dollar hypercars. It’s an engineering marvel, but it’s definitely gone down a different path than the original.
Luckily, for enthusiasts that can afford it, the Evora Sport 410 is a simple machine that has all the basics and is one of the most communicative sports cars on sale today. In a world of high-tech vehicles with all sorts of computers, that sounds refreshing.
It’s far from perfect, though, and its drawbacks are exposed in the following video, but after a short blast in it one might be tempted to overlook them. Plus, if this is what the Sport 410 is like, we can’t wait to see how capable the GT410 Sport is when it comes out.
