The LF-1 Limitless Concept will lead the Lexus pack at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show.
Unveiled in Detroit last month, the stunning-looking study will now make its appearance in the Windy City event, which starts on February 10 for the public and two days earlier for the media.
Believed to preview a production SUV that will help Lexus fight the Audi Q7 and BMW X5, the LF-1 Limitless Concept will be joined on the showroom floor by the RX 350L.
The three-row version of the SUV, which is longer than the regular models to accommodate the extra seats, uses a 290hp 3.5-liter V6 mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Two electric motors, combined with the 3.5-liter V6 engine, constitute the hybrid powertrain in the more potent 450hL.
Launched a couple of weeks ago in the United States, the LS will make its appearance at the Chicago Auto Show as well. Lexus’ flagship sedan has a starting price of $75,995, including the destination charge, and is offered in three different versions, namely 500, 500h, and 500 F Sport, with the latter being available from $81,995.
Besides these three vehicles, Toyota’s luxury brand promises to display 20 others on the 17-square-foot stage, in addition to a large LED wall and Product Gallery, with different parts and accessories, so make sure you check this space for any news concerning not just Lexus, but the Chicago show in general.
