To complement the absurd 370Zki which Nissan is bringing to the Chicago Auto Show, engineers at the carmaker have created a second concept, dubbed the 2018 Nissan Armada Snow Patrol.

The long list of modifications begins with the fitment of 20-inch Cognito Series 61 wheels finished in satin black and Pro Comp MT2 off-road tires. With grip taken care of, Nissan then raised the suspension by two inches at the front and once inch at the rear.

From here, Nissan has replaced the front bumper with a new bull bar, a 12,000 lb winch, and LED light bar. Adding to the vehicle’s rugged appeal are five-inch LED fog lights, custom side steps, rock sliders, and a huge LED light bar on the roof rack. Rounding off the exterior alterations is a bright blue wrap.

Some minor tweaks have also been made in the cabin. For example, the seats and door panels have been re-trimmed in new leather and Armada Snow Patrol logos stitched into the seat backs.

Both the Nissan 370Zki and Armada Snow Patrol are sure to turn heads in Chicago. Nevertheless, we’re not huge fans of either, simply because neither are even remotely related to anything Nissan plans to produce. Perhaps the carmaker could have used its resources in a more productive way.
