Want a Bentley Bentayga – or have one already – but don’t want it to look the same as the others you’ll encounter at the country or yacht club? There are plenty of aftermarket tuners that are keen to help.
Wheelsandmore just revealed its range of upgrades for the uber-luxe sport-ute. As have Startech, DMC, Kahn, and numerous others. Now Prior Design has revealed its take on the high-riding Bentley too.
Its PDXR widebody kit gives the Bentayga more stance. The components are made out of carbon fiber with a blend of epoxy and flex resin to give it “excellent strength, flexibility and light weight,” according to the manufacturer, and includes a new front spoiler, rear diffuser, and wheel-arch extensions.
The resulting boost to the Bentayga’s appearance make it look worthy of the 187 miles per hour it’s capable of achieving. That is, of course, with the 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine – all 600 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of it. But even the V8 version, with 60 fewer horses and 90 fewer torques, will still hit 180, according to the automaker. The diesel (available in certain markets) is no slouch itself, capable of reaching 168 mph. And acceleration times aren’t that far off, either: 0-60 in 4.0 seconds for the twelve, 4.4 for the eight, and 4.6 for the oil-burner.
Whichever engine’s under the hood, Prior Design also has exhaust, suspension, and wheel upgrades available. The example pictured is wearing a set of its PD3Forged superlight alloys, measuring 20 inches across, with 9-inch cross-sections up front and 10.5-inch width at the back.
As it is, Bentley fits the Bentayga with a supremely luxurious cabin environment. But for those looking to set theirs apart even further on the inside as well as the exterior, Prior offers an array of interior upgrades as well.
