Buyers on the lookout for a sporty executive sedan with a sleek design can’t ignore the Audi A7.
It is Audi’s four-door coupe and, as such, goes against rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz CLS and BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe.
Although it’s based on the A6, unlike its sibling, the A7 comes with a notchback design, different front, and rear ends, plus a few tweaks inside to reinforce its unique status.
And it doesn’t even have to be an S7 or RS7 to draw attention because, with the right aftermarket upgrades, all versions can become just as eye-catching.
Take this first generation model, for example, which features a light blue shade on the outside, contrasted only by the blacked out grille and a couple of decals on the doors. It also has new wheels, which come from Z-Performance. The concave rims have a royal gold look, polished lip, and are 10.5×21-inch in size. They’re part of the company’s ZP.Forged 2 family, and can be had in different colors and sizes.
What really defines it, though, is that slammed body that barely has any ground clearance and, in this author’s eyes, makes the A7 look more hot-rod than elegant and sporty executive saloon.
