Say hello to the production-spec Lynk & Co 03, uncovered by Chinese publication Auto Home.

Looking almost identical to the 03 design prototype revealed at last year’s Shanghai Auto Show, the brand’s first sedan complements the 01 SUV very well. Key design changes between the prototype and the finished car include secondary headlights on either side of the upper grille and reshaped fog lights in the lower grille.

Designers have also stayed true to the prototype’s design at the rear with almost-identical taillights and badges. Perhaps the most obvious point of difference is the absence of the prototype’s chrome tailpipes protruding out of the bumper. As they’re no longer visible at all, it seems apparent that the Geely-owned company has relocated the exhaust to exit under the rear fascia.

As for the cabin, the Lynk & Co 03 pictured appears to be bathed in light brown and black leather. A large touchscreen infotainment system dominates most of the center console which itself has been angled towards the driver. Physical buttons and dials can also be seen.

Our sources suggest the 03 sedan will initially be offered with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine and a more powerful 2.0-liter four-pot. A plug-in hybrid option based on the 1.5-liter will arrive down the road and could eventually be followed by an all-electric version.
