Easter is right around the corner and that means Jeep is preparing to unveil an assortment of concepts for the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.

This year’s concepts won’t be unveiled until next week but Jeep has released two teaser images which preview the upcoming off-roaders. Given the fact that the redesigned Wrangler was introduced a few months ago, it comes as little surprise that a number of the concepts will be based on the all-new model.

The first concept is the Jeepster and it recalls the Jeepster Commando as it features a two-tone exterior with a contrasting white hardtop that has steeply sloped rear window. Jeep didn’t say anything about the model but the image suggests it is based on the Wrangler and features off-road tires as well as auxiliary lights on the hood. The rear seats have also been removed and replaced by a spare tire with beadlocks.

The second teaser image isn’t very revealing but it shows an off-road focused Wrangler which has been equipped with a new front bumper, a grille guard and a ram air hood. We can also see LED headlights and off-road tires.

Little else is known about the concepts but the Jeep Wrangler JL will be offered with three different engines including a familiar 3.6-liter V6 developing 285 hp (212 kW) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. Customers can also order a new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder producing 270 hp (201 kW) and 295 lb-ft (399 Nm) of torque. The final engine is the most anticipated by fans and it’s a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 developing 260 hp (193 kW) and 442 lb-ft (598 Nm) of torque.
